With over 15 years’ experience in Artist Management representing some of the world's leading stars in the classical music world, Sophie is an advocate for arts education, with a belief in the power of the arts for good, for change and for community building.
After graduating from King’s College London with a First-Class Honours Degree in Music, Sophie joined Askonas Holt Ltd as a company intern and went on to become an Artist Manager having the privilege of working with esteemed artists such as Joyce DiDonato, Dame Sarah Connolly, Dame Felicity Lott, Sir Simon Keenlyside, Lucy Crowe, Sir Charles Mackerras and Thomas Adès over her 13 years with the company.
In 2020, Sophie became Senior Project Manager for the Galileo Foundation organising major events bringing together world leading philanthropists of different faiths, including at the Vatican (2022) and Blenheim Palace (2024) with a focus on collaboration across faith lines to solve some of the world’s most pressing challenges. This work included commissioning Roxanna Panufnik to compose Grant Us Peace, a piece for a multifaith choir and organ, and collaborating with Opera for Peace and musicians from the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra.In 2021, Sophie co-created EDEN Engagement - the industry-defining education project of global opera star Joyce DiDonato with Rachel Walters. Sophie led this initiative from 2022-2024 working with youth choirs across 50 cities in 4 continents in a project that reached over 15 million viewers worldwide.
Sophie is Concerts Manager for the Bliss International Song Series - a recital series for international opera stars at Pembroke College, Cambridge University working closely with Artistic Director Joseph Middleton.

For over 15 years Rachel has guided the careers of prominent classical musicians, working with renowned institutions and artists worldwide. She began her career in opera at the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at Covent Garden, later joining Askonas Holt, where she worked closely with Robert Rattray. In 2017, Rachel was headhunted by Intermusica. She has managed an esteemed roster of international singers, including Elīna Garanča, Sumi Jo, Ailyn Pérez, Sergei Leiferkus, Lise Lindstrom, Simon O’Neill and Stephen Costello.
In 2021, Joyce DiDonato and Sophie Dand invited Rachel to help develop DiDonato’s industry-defining EDEN Engagement - combining music, nature, and education. EDEN launched globally from 2022-2024 and reached over 15 million viewers worldwide. Rachel now serves as Choir and Record Label Manager for the Choir of King’s College, Cambridge, alongside conductor Daniel Hyde.
Rachel created the iPad app Wagner’s Ring Cycle, featured in The Guardian’s top 20 apps. She is passionate about sustainability, diversity, inclusion, wellbeing and arts education particularly in the UK state school sector. A graduate of Durham University in Music, Rachel co-founded Durham Opera Ensemble and held conducting and piano scholarships. In her free time, she enjoys playing piano, trumpet, choral conducting, opera, poetry, swimming and spending time with her cats Nelson and Heathcliff.
